Mother Dairy bags the ‘Porter Prize – 2012 for Creating Shared Value’

New Delhi: Mother Dairy, the leader in milk and dairy segment, was conferred with the coveted ‘Porter Prize – 2012 for Creating Shared Value’ by the Institute for Competitiveness, India. Having created an admirable brand recall owing to the superior quality of innovative products and ensuring effective supply chain for the farmers, Mother Dairy has been bestowed with this honor.  Mr S. Nagarajan, Managing Director,  Mother Dairy received the award at the ceremony organized in Gurgaon.
At the event, Mother Dairy competed with 110 shortlisted firms from 14 different industrial sectors that were assessed on various parameters like; capitalizing on Industry Dynamics, Segmenting Strategically, Leveraging Unique Activities and Exploring Tradeoffs. The objective of the Porter Prize is to recognize Indian companies at National as well as at International level in the field of Strategy and Competitiveness.
The Porter Prize has been constituted for Indian Companies by Institute for Competitiveness (India), the Indian knot in the global network of the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness at Harvard Business School. Mother Dairy in the last year has grown tremendously and has introduced many interesting dairy products in its basket reflecting bright growth plans.
